Where did your ancestors come from?

Before each monthly meeting, a Beginning Genealogy class is held from 11:15 to 12 noon. Guests are always welcome!

The next meeting of the BFGHS will take place Saturday, May 17th, at the Roosevelt District Tech Center, located at 6029 South Seventh Street in Phoenix.   The Beginner's Workshop will commence at 11:15 AM, followed by the regular monthly meeting at noon.

Social Studies teacher Miles Dean has completed his journey across the United States by horseback.  On April 1, 2008, he reached the Pacific Coast of California.  His history-making ride began six months ago in Lower Manhattan, New York.  Read all about his trip at the Black Heritage Riders website.
